The Town Clerk's office is considered to be the initial point of contact for the public. The Town Clerk collects and is responsible for maintaining the Town's various records, papers and books.
Responsibilities of the Town Clerk include, but are not limited to:
Application for a Parking Permit for Persons with Severe Disabilities
Updated Freedom of Information (FOIL)

The Town Clerk is also appointed to the position of Records Management Officer, and is responsible for administering and archiving public records within the Federal, State and Local guidelines and laws.
The Town Clerk has been awarded 8 grants to date totaling tens of thousands of dollars defraying the increasing costs of document archiving.
The Town Clerk is an elected position and serves a four year term.
